Beth Devine

Professor Emeritus, UW Department of Pharmacy, Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute

Beth Devine is a professor emeritus in the UW Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (CHOICE) Institute in the School of Pharmacy. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington Department of Health Services, her PharmD from the University of the Pacific and her MBA from the University of San Francisco. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health economics and outcomes research with UW and Roche Global Pharma Business.

Devine is an expert in evidence synthesis and has conducted numerous systematic reviews and (network) meta-analyses in the Bayesian and frequentist frameworks on diverse topics. She is the UW-site principal investigator of the AHRQ-funded Pacific Northwest Evidence-Based Practice Center. She was a member of the Indirect Treatment Comparisons Task Force of the Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). She is currently an associate editor for Value in Health. She has authored over 170 publications and one textbook. See Devine’s full profile.
