Priya D. Saxena

Strategic Advisor, Tacoma Housing Authority; Founder, Equitable Future LLC

Priya Saxena is a public-policy expert with over a dozen years of professional experience in research, organizational policy, communications and community engagement. As a strategic advisor at Tacoma Housing Authority, Saxena collaborates with leadership to shape agency-wide priorities and foster ethical, equitable decision-making. As the founder and former president of Equitable Future LLC, Saxena provided innovative and human-centered consulting services to government agencies, nonprofits and philanthropic organizations, delivering effective strategies for policy analysis, human services, and community-focused communications initiatives.

Saxena’s career started at Urban Institute in Washington, D.C., where they researched housing, homelessness, food insecurity and workforce development. Saxena holds a master’s of public administration from UW’s Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, where their capstone study earned the Dean's Award for Nonprofit Research.
