About this Course

To truly move the needle on DEIB issues within our organizations, we have to look at how our organizations are structured and function. In this course, we’ll cover a variety of tools and approaches for organization-level DEIB work: trauma-informed structures, community and power analysis-driven approaches, organizational audits, change management and more. You’ll also learn how to examine policies, procedures, organizational culture and structures for accessibility (physical, invisible, neurodiversity, etc.).

What You’ll Learn

  • How to apply trauma-informed and anti-racist approaches at an organizational level
  • Best practices for furthering inclusion and belonging through identity-based caucuses, equity teams and affinity groups
  • Change management and leadership practices you can use to navigate pushback to your efforts
  • How to build organizational equity audits and assessments

Get Hands-On Experience

You’ll complete a final project that applies your new skills and knowledge, such as conducting or planning an organizational equity audit or a DEIB training plan at your organization.
